Robbin Beauchamp joined the Career Services staff in September 2014 with over 25 years of college career services and human resources experience. She grew up in Winsted, Connecticut and attended Emerson College for her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications.  She obtained her Master of Science in Administration from Boston University.  Robbin previously worked at Stonehill College and Roger Williams University where she shared her career development knowledge with students. Robbin thoroughly enjoys working with students, alumni, and all constituents of a college career center.  

Unique fact:

She started her professional life in Hollywood working on television shows and returned to Boston to work in local television and radio.

Caitlin Brison

Caitlin Brison joined the Career Services staff in the summer of 2015.  Originally from southern California, she made the move to Boston in 2005.  Caitlin has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Applied Psychology.  Caitlin taught at a Montessori preschool in downtown Boston before getting her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration.  She loves coaching and supporting students during their career development.  She hopes to impart to students the skills necessary to identify their interests, values, competencies, and other qualities that make them unique. 

Unique fact:

She loves hiking the California coast and has climbed the Half-Dome in Yosemite.  She has logged many miles through the Santa Monica Mountains.

Lauren Creamer joined the Career Services team from Duke University.  She grew up in Narragansett, Rhode Island and went to the University of Rhode Island for her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science & Management and Bachelor of Arts in Biology.  Lauren obtained her Master of Science in College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University . She is passionate about learning what excites students and makes them want to go to work.  Her drive to teach the necessary skills to land Wentworth students a deserving job makes her a perfect fit for the department.

Unique fact: 

Lauren played rugby for seven years in Rhode Island and Boston.  She holds a national championship title.

Sara Dell

Sara Dell joined the Career Services staff from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) with over 10 years of college career services and human resources experience.  She grew up in Swarthmore, Pennslyvania and went to University of Chicago for her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.  She obtained her Master of Arts in Anthropology from University of Virginia.  Sara previously worked in both large corporate as well as startup and emerging growth companies in various industries.  There, she built internship and co-op programs and found her favorite part of the job was working with co-op students.  This realization prompted a career shift to career services in Higher Education.  At IIT, she worked with both Engineering and Technology students to help prepare them for successful careers.  She delights in providing support and advice for students in their career development and then watching them accelerate into a career they love.

Unique fact:

She relocated back to Boston to be closer to friends and family after living in Chicago for many years.

Mary Federico joined the Career Services staff with over 25 years of experience in Career Development through her work at Tufts University, UMass Lowell, Boston College and Indiana University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Tufts University and studied abroad in Florence, Italy.  She holds a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.  What Mary enjoys the most about working in co-op and career development is teaching students the tools they need for the job search and building their confidence along the way. She finds great joy in the success of the students she advises.

Unique fact: 

Mary grew up in the state of Vermont and still considers herself a “Vermonter” in spite of leaving the state at the age of 17.

Janel joined the Career Services team with 4 years of experience in the field of education.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Growth & Development from Wheelock College.  She is working toward her Master of Social Work at Wheelock. She was born in Nuremberg, W. Germany, but raised in Boston, MA. At a very young age, Janel developed a passion of working in the field of education. She enjoys teaching students the resources and tools to achieve the training they need to be successful in their career path.

Unique fact:

In her free time, Janel enjoys dancing and even tried out for the New England Patriot's Cheerleading Team.

Jer Jurma joined the staff with 20 years of experience working in various types of Architecture and Design firms.  He studied at Boston University, Peabody Conservatory (Johns Hopkins University), the Boston Architectural College, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. He comes to advising from the perspective of an Architecture professional with a strong interest in education and the graphic representation of academic work in relation to career development and advancement.

Unique fact: 
Jer came to the profession of architecture after studying to become a classical musician.

Andrea joined the Career Services team with over 8 years of marketing experience. She attended Rhode Island School of Design for Interior Architecture and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing at Northeastern University. Being a successful by-product of the cooperative education program, she truly believes in the value of the program and finds it rewarding to see the success of students benefiting from this experience.  Andrea coordinates all marketing efforts in the department to support job and prospective employer development. She also manages all career-related events.  

Unique fact:
Being a travel enthusiast, she has traveled to over 35 countries around the world.

Kendra joined the staff with over 4 years of experience in Technology & Information.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in English at Oregon State University, and her Master of Science Archives Management from Simmons College. After working in the software and pharmaceutical industries, she joins the Career Services team with a passion for information management and access. She enjoys helping students and staff alike, inspired by her own internship experiences while at Simmons.

Unique fact: 

Kendra took piano lessons for 19 years and currently taking guitar and voice lessons.

Marcia Sailor joined the Career Services staff in 2008 with over 25 years of experience in education, high tech product management, geographic information systems and forest management.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Land Use from Gustavus Adolphus College, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College, and a Master of Forest Science from Yale University.  A summer internship led to Marcia’s first professional job.  She believes passionately in the value of cooperative education and how it transforms the lives of students.

Unique fact:

She lived in Colorado, Oregon, and Alabama before returning to New England and enjoys spending time with her large extended family.
