Mission
The Office of Campus Life is dedicated to providing educational,experiential and social opportunities which enhance students' development as engaged members of their communities and professions.
Leadership
Leadership is the complex process of individuals or groups working together for a common purpose, by influencing others to accomplish a specific task or bring about change. Leadership includes roles such as leader and follower, and also interdependent relationships, experiences, and situations, resulting in the idea that anyone at any time can participate in leadership. Leadership is best when guided by values, appreciation of diversity, and ethics.
Leader
A leader is someone who seeks to become involved in their community by working with others for a common purpose. To be a leader, it is not necessary to hold an elected or appointed position, but instead only requires that one engages in the community. Effective leaders possess communication skills, decision making ability, and can successfully garner the trust and support of others.
Division of Student Affairs
The Office of Campus Life is a member of the Division of Student Affairs. The Division of Student Affairs is committed to the holistic education of students through intentional interactions and learning experiences that develop engaged citizens and dedicated professionals who contribute to their communities.
