Places of Worship
Spiritual Wellness
We recognize the importance that faith plays in peoples lives. To make this aspect of your life easier to live, the following resources and opportunities are available to students.
-
Religion and the Intercultural Center
Muslim Daily Prayers
The Prayer and Meditation room (Flanagan 029) is a quiet place for students to pray, reflect or meditate. It is open to students of any religious or spiritual background. A foot sink, prayer rugs, and meditation cushions are available for student use. Check the schedule for times. Depending on student involvement, Jummuah is also observed on Fridays.
Jewish Minyan
Students are also welcome to attend Jewish Minyan on Friday evenings in the center.

Local Places of Worship
This information is a compilation of religious organizations and places of worship that are accessible to all College of the Fenway students. They were selected due to their proximity to the Colleges of the Fenway area. Please contact the places of worship to find out more about their practices and to confirm service times.
An asterisk (*) indicates places of worship that have identified themselves as "open to and affirming of" persons who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered, either by official declaration within their denomination or by a statement of mission. Their congregations serve heterosexual people as well and are very open to having college students attend their services.
If there is a place of worship not on this list that you would like to recommend, please contact IC@wit.edu and we'll update our list. For a resource to all the religions in Boston, check out the Harvard Pluralism Project.
